Sarah Rose Events in Aspen was thrilled to assist this beautiful, young Texas couple with their surprise engagement! The groom-to-be knew he wanted it to take place in Paepcke Park's gazebo. He left the rest of the details up to us!
To start, we enlisted the help of Aspen Branch, one of the very best florists and event designers in the valley. They did their magic, setting this gorgeous scene with chairs, faux fur throws, lanterns, bouquets of red and pink roses, and candles. They hand-taped rose petals to the floor of the gazebo to create a romantic walkway for the surprise.
Next, we needed a photographer! MaggShots is a wonderful new vendor whom Aspen is lucky to have. She did a wonderful job capturing the proposal and doing a mini engagement photo shoot afterward.
At Sarah Rose Events in Aspen, we're always looking for ways to be unique and creative—to elevate every celebration, large or small, into a memorable moment. For this, the final touch was getting a custom, hand-painted bottle of Veuve Clicquot for the couple, created by Saxet Studio. It had their names, the date, and a drawing of the ring against the mountainous view from the gazebo. It was a beautiful touch that the couple will have forever!
